Hydro excavating is the safest, most cost effective and environmentally friendly method of excavation in the industry today. Unlike mechanical excavation, there is little chance of damage when water is used to loosen the soil. Using hydro excavation significantly reduces the safety and financial risks associated with utility line strikes.
Hydro excavation exerts pressurized water to cut the ground into pieces. The pieces are then removed by air conveyance into a debris holding tank. This method provides a non-destructive means to safely excavate areas which may contain unknown underground utilities. It represents a “surgical” excavation process when compared to the traditional mechanical digging equipment.
